Event Description:
The Henry County Conservation Department will be at the 2016 Henry County Fair! The Henry County Conservation Department and Oakland Mills Nature Center sponsored a Conservation Station trailer from Water Rocks! to visit on Kid’s Day.
This trailer includes a rainfall simulator, which demonstrates the impacts of land management choices- both urban and agricultural- on water quality and the connections between our soil and water. There will be age-appropriate, hands-on interactive activities with this visit. Henry County Conservation’s naturalists will be on hand with live reptiles during the event.
