ACORN is an adult program for those interested in conservation and environmental education topics. There are no membership fees and no commitments. Artifishal, will be shown followed by a holiday craft and annual potluck in the classroom. Film length 75 minutes. From Patagonia’s website: “Artifishal is a film about people, rivers, and the fight for the future of wild fish and the environment that supports them. It explores wild salmon’s slide toward extinction, threats posed by fish hatcheries and fish farms, and our continued loss of faith in nature.” Bring a holiday dish to share and homemade nature ornament for our friendship tree! The Department will provide table service and drinks. FREE. Note: This film does have a few graphic/disturbing scenes but don’t let that prevent you from coming. Also, the film is subject to change.
