Event Description:
Located along the Underground Railroad, it was obvious some travelers would stay in Henry County.  The class will tell the story of the Henry County's part in the Underground Railroad, the story of Alexander Lee and Lee Town, Iowa Wesleyan University's acceptance and assistance for African Americans, and integration of the local public school system.
