Event Description:
Mr. Fry is a historian from Burlington who has written several books on local history and directed several documentaries. His description of the program is as follows: "Ma-Ka-Tai-Me-She-Kia-Kiak, the Sauk war leader known to the American setters as Chief Black Hawk, fought and lost a war in 1832 as he tried to retake his homeland. The history books are wrong." Preregistration on mycountyparks.com is appreciated, but not necessary.
