Event Description:
At the Park are monthly programs provided by the Henry County Conservation Department that are geared toward individuals or families. This year’s theme is History and maple syrup is definitely part of history! Learn how it all started.
 
Maple syrup demonstration at Oakland Mills County Park at the Top of the Hill Shelter Area.
 
Come see the Dorothy Family Maple Syrup Camp in action on Sunday, March 22, 2015, from 1-3:00 p.m. Listen to KILJ 105.5 FM for cancellations due to inclement weather. This is a bi-annual event and is dependent on the weather. Dress for the weather as all activities are held outdoors.
The evaporator will be up and running, tree tapping, and syrup tasting will be part of the activities. All ages with accompanying adult. Large groups are welcome with proper supervision. FREE, No reservations necessary.
