Five American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Des Moines County teams are hosting a Jamaican-themed fundraiser called Finish Di Fight. The event will take place July 20, 2013 at Big Muddys in downtown Burlington. The day's events include a 5K fun run /walk, a 6 on 6 volleyball tournament, island cuisine, and a reggae concert by award winning, Gizzae. Registration for the 5K and volleyball tournaments is open, and participants can register at www.getmeregistered.com/finishdifight. The registration fee includes a t-shirt and a ticket into the concert. Concert tickets are $8 in advance and are available at Big Muddys and other area businesses and from any of the Relay For Life team members. Each concert ticket also gives you a chance to win a trip for two to Montego Bay, Jamaica. You must be 18-years old or older to win.
