Join thousands of other Iowans in a one-kilometer Healthiest State Walk on October 9th. Mt. Pleasant?s community walk is named ?Iowa?s Healthiest College Community 1st Annual Walk in the IWC Quad? and will be held at the Iowa Wesleyan College campus from 11:30am-12:30pm. Community members are invited to join IWC students and faculty in a 1K walk that will start in front of the Howe Student Activity Center. A group photo will be taken of walkers at 11:50am in front of the Chapel. Healthy Henry County Communities is working with the IWC Center for Service Learning & Civic Engagement and the IWC Fitness Leadership team to coordinate this event as part of their homecoming week festivities.
