Event Description:
Henry County Conservation’s annual night hike begins in front of the Oakland Mills Nature Center on Monday, October 24th, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Land of Oz is this year’s theme. Meet familiar Oz characters- Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, the Witches, and even the Wizard will teach you about recycling and natural resources! Six short skits by costumed actors will be educational and fun– not scary.
This is a FREE event for ALL ages, however, kids must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are not necessary- this is a come and go as you please event. There will be door prizes and snacks inside the Oakland Mills Nature Center. In the event of inclement weather, the skits will be performed inside the nature center.
