National Expert to Visit Theatre Museum in Mt. Pleasant for Weeklong Program Dr. Wendy Waszut-Barrett, founder and owner of Historic Stage Services LLC in Minneapolis, will spend a week in January at the Theatre Museum of Repertoire Americana in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, where she will lead a group of volunteers in cataloging backdrops in the museum’s collection. The program will take place Monday, January 8-Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Theatre Museum on the Old Threshers grounds, and will culminate in a presentation to invited guests at 7 pm Friday evening. In addition, Dr. Waszut-Barrett will be available to meet with members of the press at noon each day. She is being hosted by the National Society for the Preservation of Tent, Folk and Repertoire Theatre.
