JOEL BROWN and HEIDI RIEPE join forces for Fantasies on the Steinway piano duet concert featuring music from Claude Debussy, Donald Townsend and Franz Schubert. The duet piano concert will include Petite Suite, 4 Fantasies on American Folksongs and Fantasy in f minor, Op. 103, D. 940. Brown, Professor of Music (retired) from Iowa Wesleyan College makes a return visit to the Chamber Music Spotlight Series and is joined by Riepe, making her debut on the series. With a lengthy tenure at Iowa Wesleyan College, Brown has established a reputation as a piano teacher and performer of exception ability. Riepe graduated from Kansas University with a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance and has taught piano . Brown and Riepe have performed together sharing the love of beautiful music.
