Monthly legislative forums will be held from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. the fourth Saturdays of January, February, March, and April in the International Room of Chadwick Library at Iowa Wesleyan University.  The forums are free and open to the public. Rep. Dave Heaton, R-Mount Pleasant, and Sen. Rich Taylor, D-Mount Pleasant, are scheduled to attend the events. Other special guests also are expected to participate.

The first forum regarding Education & Workforce Development will be moderated by David File, President of the Mount Pleasant Area Development Commission.  Confirmed panelists include Principal Jason Martinez from Mount Pleasant Middle School and Dr. DeWayne Frazier, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Iowa Wesleyan University.  Additional panelists are anticipated.
