Summary: Mark will plunge into a discussion on the new Department of Labor (DOL) white collar exemption rules, effective December 1, 2016. This includes what the changes are; the continued wave of cases involving interns, staffing companies, and independent contractors, including joint employer theories; exemption and misclassification decisions; and how our technology-focused workplaces affect compensable time.
