The Mount Pleasant Community PTA is hosting a shoe drive from 8/21/19 to 10/21/19! Donate your unwanted or outgrown shoes (including sneakers, sandals, flip flops, boots, cleats, etc) and the PTA will be compensated $.40 per pound of shoes. Donated shoes will be sent to Funds 2 Orgs that will send them to micro-entrepeneurs in developing countries. Funds raised will go towards the costs of milk for low income families for afternoon milk (K-2nd) at MPCSD elementary schools, and if enough is collected - a general fund for teacher's supplies. Our goal is to collect 2,500 pairs of shoes, so please ask your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family to clean out those closets!!
