PRESS RELEASE November 12, 2020 THANKSGIVING ORGAN CONCERT MAKE YOUR THANKSGIVING MORE FESTIVE WITH SWEDESBURG ORGELMUSIK! Sunday, November 22, 2:00 pm. Swedesburg Lutheran Church. This is the first of three upcoming organ concerts with this one focusing on themes of giving thanks for God, for creation and for music. It will be presented by Organist Christopher Arp. Free will donations will be accepted at the church or there will be an online provision for donations as well. The church will be embarking on a major renovation of its 1928 Bennett organ which is considered a local treasure. Two church members will present about the organ history and their personal experiences with the organ and music in the church. The program will end with a period of questions & answers about the upcoming organ project.
