Day of the Child at Westland Mall.  Put on your best pajamas and join us for a party!  Pajama Party - Sunday, April 3rd 2016 - 12-4pm  Westland Mall, West Burlington, IA  - Sponsored by Community Action of Southeast Iowa, Early Childhood Program.

Day of the Child is an annual event for children and their families.  Over 30 organizations and agencies set up booths througout the common areas of the mall and in some empty stores.  At the booths there are games, arts, crafts, activities, giveaway items and enterainment as well as information for families. All activites are FREE!  Activites include; free car seat checks and car seat safety information; eye screening for children 6 months thru 3 years; comprehensive digital identification; dancing and movement activities; active games; martial arts; pillow case project; information about sleep; stained glass window, mosaic pictures, musical instruments, pencil ribbon wands, moon and many other arts and crafts; nutritional booklets, jump ropes, books, Frisbee giveaways and much more!
