Event Description:
The third lecture in the 2021 Friends of the Harlan-Lincoln House Brown Bag Lecture Series. Join historian and retired Canadian Pacific Railroad conductor Dennis Wilson as he explores the Orphan Trains which transported over 300,000 children from the Eastern seaboard to homes in every state of the Union, including Iowa, from 1854 to 1929.
Location:
The 2021 Friends of the Harlan-Lincoln House Brown Bag Lecture Series will be held in the Social Hall of the Howe Student Activity Center at Iowa Wesleyan University. All lectures are open to the public. Pre-Registration is required at https://www.iw.edu/friends-of-the-harlan-lincoln-house-brown-bag-lecture-series/. Social distancing and masks required.
