Consumers are more aware today about food safety and foodborne illnesses than they were a decade ago. Help is here! Iowa State University Extension & Outreach offers food safety training classes for food service workers throughout the area. ServSafe® is an eight hour certification course (cost $150) for all foodservice employees, especially managers, which includes a national exam for certification.
