Event Description:
Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. This Sunday, November 20, 2022, Iowa Wesleyan’s GSA and PFLAG Mount Pleasant will hold a vigil at 3PM on the Iowa Wesleyan campus. There will be a short address, reading of the names of the deceased in 2021-2022, and poetry readings. This event is open to all.
