6 Boy Scouts and 2 Adult leaders from Troop 27 will be participating in the Out Island Adventure program this August! This program is put on by the Florida National High Adventure Sea Base and is located on mile marker 23.8 at the Brinton Environmental Center near Key West, Florida. Out Island Adventure is a survival-style program. Scouts camp on a remote 100+ acre island. They will come ashore carrying all the food, water and equipment used during their adventure in a rugged camp setting. This is a true high-adventure program, one that combines physical challenge with excitement and adventure. The program fee for each participant is $815. This does not include travel cost. Come eat some good food and help us send these brave scouts on a once in-a-lifetime adventure!
