Calling all wine-o’s!  Want a chance to win 35 bottles of wine? Perhaps you would like to sample wine and beer from local Iowa distributors. A Wine & Beer Tasting event will be held October 12th from 4-6 pm on the Henry County Court House lawn in Mount Pleasant. Over 10 wineries & distributors will be in attendance, and $15 admission includes appetizers, beverage samples, and a wine glass. The Money raised from this fundraiser will support Mount Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance initiatives such as retail promotions, workshops and training, and business retention and attraction.

Tickets are being sold by various Chamber and Main Street members & also at Breadeaux, de Brito Baking Bistro, Hy-Vee Foods, Hy-Vee Drugstore, West Liberty Foods Market and the Chamber office Monday-Friday (8 am- 5 pm) in Mount Pleasant. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event. 

Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 each or 3 for $25.  The grand prize is 35 bottles of wine, 2^nd prize is 25 bottles of wine, 3^rd prize is 15 bottles of wine, and there will be multiple winners of 5 bottles of wine.  Raffle prize winners will be drawn at 5:30 pm on October 12^th, but winners need not be present to win.
